Loudoun Wedding Music

Loudoun wedding music at Raspberry Plain  was the elegant setting for a ceremony and reception.  Located in Leesburg, VA, Raspberry Plain offers an array of outdoor settings as well as a large indoor facility with windows on three sides, capturing the surrounding countryside.

An outdoor ceremony amongst picturesque landscaping captured true romance for this couple.  The ‘Just the Two of Us‘ Duo, with guitar and saxophone/flute, provided the wedding ceremony music, personalized to the desires of the bride and groom.

The ‘Rendezvous‘ 7-piece variety band offered background dinner music followed by dance music which kept the guests dancing the night away!  Special song requests throughout the ceremony and reception personalized this special day for this beautiful couple.  Their guests enjoyed endless hours of celebration.

Memorable moments were captured by Saskia Paulussen of Saski Paulussen Photography.  Read a review on Wedding Wire regarding this spectacular event!

Tip #9 – The “Bee’s Knees?”

A phrase coined in the 1920’s, the “bee’s knees” was popularly used to describe something or someone outstanding. No one is quite sure exactly how it came about, but it’s fun, catchy, and memorable – just as your event should be. So how do you make your soiree the “bee’s knees”?

Be Creative – Theme your event. From beach bash to fairy tale ball to Addam’s Family Christmas, we’ve seen it all. Olivera Music Entertainment will help to make your wildest vision a reality.

Be Swingin’ – Shall we dance? Of course! Never be afraid to set up a dance floor at your soiree. No matter the age of your guests, our musicians know how to keep ’em tapping from first beat to the last.

Be Tasteful – Remember who you are hosting; keep the theme and entertainment both relevant and enjoyable. With experienced DJ’s and musicians, we can assist you in selecting repertoire most suitable for your guests.

Be Fun – Add a surprise. A special performance, whether it be a musician, dancer, or even a celebrity, will spark excitement and make your event memorable for everyone!

‘Music Tasting Stations’ for Wedding at Oatlands Plantation, Leesburg, Loudoun, VA

Tuesday, August 21st, 2012

Four separate Music Tasting Stations were discretely placed along the stone path, about 50 ft apart, each one providing a different playlist and genre of music – quite like movie magic – as guests strolled from the parking lot to the ceremony site.  DJ Ray provided his expertise, as guests were serenaded by this series of love tunes. Extensive pre-event planning with Kevin Olivera allowed the couple to personalize each music station with songs that were special to them.

The 7-piece variety band ‘Steppin Out’ performed dinner and dance music for this elegant french-themed wedding at Oatlands Plantation, Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia.  Again, careful pre-planning with Kevin Olivera allowed the couple to personalize their schedule of events for the dinner and dancing.

Tip #8 – Keeping It ‘Cool’

In the entertainment industry, anything is possible.  While this can be advantageous in organizing a one-of-a-kind event, you must always be prepared in case of an emergency.  Here are a few ways we can help you keep calm and party on!

  • Your musicians have a sudden emergency
    • Our entertainment producer always has a backup plan so you are assured of a quality performance.
  • An accident occurs on-site
    • Life is unpredictable and accidents can happen. Whether a physical injury or technical failure, Olivera Music Entertainment carries full liability insurance, as required by most venues, so you are protected.
  • Equipment is difficult to move
    • Proper loading and unloading of equipment is crucial for preventing gratuitous damage charges.
    • We ensure the highest care and efficiency for transport of all instruments, equipment, devices, etc.  Experienced in servicing the area’s most popular venues, our production staff is very familiar with such procedures.
  • Electronic devices are faulty
    • We’ve all experienced the shock of a computer crash or technological failure.  That is why our producers, DJ’s and musicians arrive prepared with an extra supply of essential equipment such as speakers, amplifiers, and mixers.

Entertainment production requires careful and extensive planning.  Let us help you make your event a success!
